Charlie's 1st Hair Cut

Charlie had his 1st real hair cut on the 9th. I had trimmed the front of his hair right before Thanksgiving, but this was his 1st official cut. He was growing a mullet and it was time for a trim. He did great! He smiled and flirted with all the ladies getting their hair washed. It was a great place for people watching, which is one of his favorite things, so he was happy.

Christmas 2008

We had a very merry Christmas and hope you did too. It was a joy to celebrate Christ's birth with a new addition to our family this year. Charlie was way more into the wrapping paper than the gifts, but he was happy and excited to explore all the new things, his and ours, all morning. We spent the day with all of Bobby's family. Charlie and his only cousin, Haley, got to spend a lot of time together which was fun for them both. He was an expert at pushing around his new alligator walker by then end of the day.Posted by Picasa

Curious

Charlie has become so curious. He loves to crawl in between on the spindles on chairs, play with boxes, watch the laundry tumble, get into anything that mom or dad are doing, and play with his food. He is a lot of fun right now. Learning new things each day.

Lillis' Wedding

My cousin, Lillis, got married in Atlanta the weekend before Thanksgiving and we were able to celebrate with her. Her mom, Mary, and my dad are twins. Aren't they cute!

Snow - December 11th

We woke up to snow on Friday morning. Charlie got bundled up and was so excited to go play. He crawled and rolled around in it and had a great time! He was very upset when I brought him back in to warm up.Posted by Picasa

Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving in Columbus with my family. Charlie had a great time playing with Mimi and Pops and all his aunts and uncles. My mom's parents were able to come from Texas as well and we enjoyed getting to spend some time with them. Bobby got to hunt several days and brought home a buck. We ate too much food and caught up on some sleep and spent time with family. A great time was had by all!

Halloween 2008

Yes, that is Bobby in the Viking mask. Charlie was surprisingly unphased by his scary get up.
Meg, Patrick and Richard took their costumes pretty seriously.

This is the closest Charlie got to eating candy.

Our friends, the Widmeiers, came by in pirate ship with some pretty awesome costumes! Nice job Sam and Jake!

Charlie and Emily staying warm in the kitchen.

Nice mustache Patrick.
