Nandy and Grandad's - August 2009
We got to stop by and visit Bobby's gradparents in Albany this past summer and had a great time. Charlie is named after Grandad so it is alwasy fun when they get to spend time together.
"Measure"
Charlie loves to carry around the measuring tape and "measure" everything. He always pulls it out, looks at it, and almost every time says "10" very emphatically. It is really cute!
Oil Change
Charlie thought helping dad on the "old black truck" was the greatest thing that every happened. How cute are they!
21 Months
Charlie is such a joy! He is so full of energy. He is talking in 2 and 3 word phrases and thinks he can do anything and everything that mom and dad do. He loves all ball sports and watching for animals, especially deer. Not sure where he got that from. He gives great hugs, loves to talk to his Mimi and Pops on the phone, likes to color and play with any of dad's tools we will let him touch... "Hammer" is one of the most used words in his vocabulary right now. He is learning to ride a tricycle and loves to read... especially his story book bible! He adores all of his grandparents and can say almost all of this uncles and aunts names. He can count to 10 on a good day but mostly enjoys counting to 3 just before he jumps off something. He always wants to share and loves to sit on the floor and play with his dad or wrestle on the bed. We are so thankful for him and cannot believe his will be 2 soon!
What's wrong with this picture?
That's right, one of the wise men is decapitated... Complements of Charlie. We had only had him out of the box for 30 seconds before he lost his head in a freak accident. Thankfully super glue works wonders.
The Tree
Every year we get our Christmas tree from Bobby's old scout troop at Christ Pres. They have a tee pee set up that the boys take turns sleeping in on their night to guard the trees. Charlie was very intrigued. It was his first year to be part of the whole experience. It was in the 30's that night and he kept taking his gloves off to pick things up and eventually came up to me holding out his hands and said "ice mommy". He had a great time though. And, as you can tell from the last picture, he wore himself out!
Thanksgiving
This was our year to spend Thanksgiving with all of Bobby's family. His sister and her family came in from Florida and Charlie got lots of play time with his cousin. Bobby's parents got hay for the trailer on the mower and Haley and Charlie went for hayrides around the yard. As you can tell, they didn't have any fun. :) Thanks Rod and Dinah for a great week!
Zerberts
Charlie recently thought it was hilarious to blow on the glass on the oven and make funny noises. He would blow and then turn around and look at me and bust out laughing.

30!
I am so far behind on this blog, but thought I would make an effort to catch up a little. This is from my 30th birthday party. Bobby flew Melissa in from Denver for my birthday and we had dinner wit a bunch of my girl friends one night and a family dinner the other. It was a great weekend!

Boo boos - April 22, 2009
My child seriously looks like is abused. He tripped twice in about a 30 second period at dinner and landed head first on the cement sidewalk. At least he managed to hit both sides of his head so that he has matching bruises.
Play time at Dink and Papa's - April 25, 2009
Charlie loves exploring the Freeman's back yard. He is also very serious about maintaining the grass.
Cute Picture - April 18, 2009
My friend Misty took this picture of Charlie at her daughter's birthday party in the Spring and I think it is so cute! She is a great photographer. She did our family photos a couple months ago. Her prices are very reasonable and she will take pics anywhere you want her to locally. Her site is http://www.tronephotography.com/

Sorry for the long break... here is April
This little bug is one of charlie's favorite toys. When he pulls it the wings spin around and he loves it.
Wearing his dad's hat (which he loves!) and pulling his wagon.
Blowing dandelions.
Didn't want to get out of the wagon.
